About this organization
Students at Citronelle High School monitor water quality regularly through Mobile Baykeeper's SWAMP program. These students monitor water chemistry at three sites: on Cedar Creek, Escatawpa River, and Bennet Creek. They have been trained using Alabama Water Watch's EPA approved methodology. Students anticipate adding sites on Lotts Mill Creek in the coming school year as well as beginning monitoring for dangerous bacteria.
