Problem plant species spotted during survey (UK)

This parameter is part of the newly defined UK National Protocol as part of CaSTCo. This description is preliminary and will be updated shortly.

Some non-native plant species can spread quickly and outcompete native vegetation, reducing habitat quality and biodiversity. Recording these “problem” or invasive plants helps identify areas where management may be needed.
