API 5-in-1 teststrips (pH)

API 5-in-1 test strips are an easy way to check multiple water quality parameters (pH, nitrite, nitrate, hardness, and alkalinity).

To measure pH using API 5-in-1 test strips, dip one strip into your water sample for 2–3 seconds. Remove it and hold it flat without shaking off the water. Wait about 30 seconds for the colours to develop. Look for the colour block on the strip labeled for pH. Compare that colour to the pH chart on the bottle or package. Match the colour to find out your water’s pH level. This simple method helps check if your water is acidic, neutral, or basic.
