API 5-in-1 teststrips (nitrates)

API 5-in-1 test strips are an easy way to check multiple water quality parameters (pH, nitrite, nitrate, hardness, and alkalinity).

To use them, dip a strip into your water sample for 2–3 seconds, then remove it and hold it level. Wait about 30 seconds for the colours to develop. Compare the colours on the strip to the chart provided on the bottle or packaging. Each colour block corresponds to a specific level for each parameter.
