Similar water level to last month, reasonably high but not flowing apart from upstream where I can see what seems to be a slow trickle along the surface of the water.

Downstream of Slyfield Treatment Works by Sarah Davis
Very strong smell today of Sweage and other smell not able to identify . We could see lots of Birds ' Red Kites' Flying over the transfer of land fill waste dump on the other side of the river to where we were testing, and they were flying low over the waste dump and picking up something ? We were slightly concerned as fresh organic waste is not supposed to be laying around in heaps. The water was gushing fast out of the over flow pipe today from the old sewage works. We saw lots of Kyacks race past us on the river.
