Winfield Creek at Emerson School by Maureen Keil

They brined the roads at least 3 times in the past week. Yesterday they didn't plow the street until yesterday morning, and it didn't look like it had been salted. After I shoveled my driveway I didn't bother salting at all, and the sun and wind evaporated most of the moisture still on the pavement. Hardly anyone salted their sidewalks near me (the creek is 2 blocks away from my house)
