    An oily film is present on the water trapped against a log. Seen: - Lots of mosquitos, caddisfly larvae, and Crawfish - Misc. minnows - American Crow, Blue Jay - Ferns exploding in growth Heard: - Alder flycatcher, Cardinal, Blue Jay, possibly an indigo bunting??

    - All the plants are growing quickly, reeds are shooting up, aquatic plants are large, water is a little more cloudy than last time Seen: - Dragonflies, Moths/butterflies, Spider, flies - Red-winged blackbird - Garlic mustard, pondweed Heard: - Song sparrow - American Goldfinch
