An oily film is present on the water trapped against a log. Seen: - Lots of mosquitos, caddisfly larvae, and Crawfish - Misc. minnows - American Crow, Blue Jay - Ferns exploding in growth Heard: - Alder flycatcher, Cardinal, Blue Jay, possibly an indigo bunting??
