    A beautiful morning at the lake. 2 great blue heron were sited last evening at this spot.

    Loon Lake West Shore by Mike Grinnell

    REDOX was 262 mv. This is the beginning of REDOX/ORP being taken in Loon Lake. Lake sampling taken today, all similar characteristics, demonstrated that this location is a good location that is representative of other locations in the lake. It will be the prime location for testing on Loon Lake.

    The plants on land and in the water are exploding in growth. The water is deeper and darker than last time. Some water fowl feces can be seen. - Red-winged blackbird - American goldfinch - Swamp sparrow - Yellow warbler - Crab spider - other bugs
