    Dyers Bay by Tamara Wilson

    The gulls are having a party down the shore. We don’t often see so many together. Typically 3-5 individuals but not today. A dead dragonfly nymph along the shore and White throated sparrows in the trees.

    Chandos Drive Entrance by Lauren McElroy

    Lots of birds out today- Merlin helped ID a variety of more common birds (Canada Goose, Killdeer, Northern Cardinal, Great Blur Heron, Red Winged Blackbird, Blue Jay, Mallard, Northern Flicker, Common Grackle, Song Sparrow) and some that I haven’t seen too often: Red Bellied Woodpecker, Blue-Winged Teal) as well as a rare Cackling Goose (never heard of this one before!)
