    Medium Flow, warm outside temp 18oc There has been a lot of rain recently, but not in the past few days so river levels are normal Stream smells unpleasent. There is a black coating on riverbed Dead invertebrates found in all samples Also caught: 20 midge larvae 6+ leech 8+ aquatic worms 9+Water Hog lice blackfly larvae 1 v small fish fry (probably stickleback but too small and young to see any details) Water chemical (ammonia and phospates) results to follow hopefully.....

    Ice out April 3/24. These readings following a 4 day Colorado low with winds of 90 mph creating 5 ft waves crest to crest .. adding oxygen to the water. A substantial drop in Chlorides to 10.83 from 12 mg/l due to somewhat milder winter and the MTO using pre-wetted salt and checking periodic spreader calibrations. ADDED MEASUREMENT: ORP = 261 mv.
