    Mammals: Red tailed fox (VERY thin, looked mangey - a neighbour is feeding it hoping to aid its recovery) Insects: Water scorpion, water striders, dragonflies, damselflies, water boatman, young giant water bugs (bite - ouch!). Plants: Tapegrass, eurasian milfoil, Fragrant white waterlilies, sago, richardsons pondweed, chara. Birds: Canada geese, double crested cormorants, gulls, osprey, American robin. Fish: Northern pike, Golden shiners, brook stickleback, brown bullhead catfish, pugnose shiner, white sucker, pumpkinseed sunfish, black crappie, bluntnose minnows, banded killifish, largemouth bass, tubenose gobies, fathead minnows. Species at risk: Pugnose shiners. Invasive species: Eurasian milfoil, tubenose gobies.

    Plants: Yellow waterlilies, fragrant white waterlilies, typha sp., elodea, water plantain, European frogbit, Eurasian milfoil, pickerelweed, coontail, flatleaf. Birds: Great egret, great blue heron, green heron, Canada geese, Gulls, double crested cormorant, mallards. Fish: Golden shiner, Northern Pike, Crappie, Yellow perch, brown bullhead catfish, pumpkinseed sunfish, bluegill sunfish, longnose gar, largemouth bass. Amphibians: American Toad, Green frog, frog sp. tadpole. Reptiles: Garter snake sp.

    Very soft organic-rich bottom - easy to sink and get stuck! Muskrat dens in reeds Fish: Northern pike, pumpkinseed sunfish, yellow perch, largemouth bass, bluntnose minnows. Plants: Yellow pond lilies, fragrant white pond lilies, Eurasian milfoil, elodea, typha, loosestrife, water marigold, American bur-reed, richardsons pondweed, starry duckweed, tape grass, bladderwort. Birds: Common tern, black tern, seagulls

    Plants: Willow trees, bloodroot, thistle, SAGO, elodea, richardsons pondweed. Birds: Osprey, Gulls, Common Tern.     Fish found here were large fallfish (around 14cm long) and round gobies. Macrophytes seen were tape grass, Eurasian milfoil, richardsons pondweed, coontail, and elodea.

    Birds: bank swallows, great blue heron, double crested cormorants. Plants: Pickrelweed, yellow pondlilies, white fragrant pondlillies, Eurasian milfoil, elodea, sago, coontail, curlyleaf pondweed, cattails. Fish: Pumpkinseed sunfish, rock bass, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, brown bullhead (and many young of the year), killifish. Species at risk: Cutlip minnow. Insects: Widow Skimmer Dragonfly, other dragonfly nymphs, amphipods, Amphibians: Green frogs, bullfrogs, and American toads. Mammal: Beaver

Plants: Elodea, Coontail, E. milfoil, willow trees, poison parsnip, wild grape. Invasive species: Tubenose gobies, Eurasian Milfoil, zebra mussels.

    Caught a rusty crayfish. Saw sago, flatleaf pondweed, curlyleaf pondweed, coontail, and purple nightshade. There were also double-crested cormorants.
