    Gananoque Marina by Emma Ehrenfeld

    Heavily maintained lawns (grass all dead - looked like sand at first!) go right to the waters edge, a busy marina, silty soft bottom. Plants: Richardsons pondweed, Eurasian milfoil, tapegrass, water nymph, elodea. Inverts: Damselflies, Zebra mussels. Invasive species: Zebra mussels, Eurasian milfoil.

    Stave Island Wetland by Emma Ehrenfeld

    Birds: Ring billed gull, osprey, great blue heron, red winged blackbird. Fish: Largemouth bass, Northern pike, brown bullhead catfish, pugnose shiner, round goby, tadpole madtom, bridle shiners, rock bass, bluegill sunfish, brook silverside, yellow perch, pumpkinseed sunfish. Plants: Eurasian milfoil, stargrass, bullrush, typha sp., phragmite, richardsons pondweed, elodea, rush, fragrant white waterlilies. Invertebrates: Damselfly sp., dragonfly sp., deerflies. Invasive species: Eurasian milfoil, phragmites, round goby. Species at risk: Bridle shiners, Pugnose shiners.

    Birds: American crow, osprey, mute(?) swan, belted kingfisher. Fish: Northern pike, golden shiner, tubenose goby, round goby, rock bass, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, pugnose shiners. Mammal: Mink. Plants: Willow trees, CHARA ALGAE, water nymph, tapegrass, star grass, Eurasian milfoil, Richardsons pondweed, elodea. Invertebrates: Zebra mussels. Invasive species: Zebra mussels, Eurasian milfoil, round gobies, tubenose gobies, mute(?) swan. Species at risk: Pugnose shiners.

    Amphibians: Leopard frog, bullfrog, green frog, American toad. Reptiles: Eastern Garter snake. Plants: Willow trees, typha sp., water plantain, tapegrass, elodea, wild grape. Fish: Round goby, tubenose goby, brown bullhead catfish, tadpole madtom, pugnose shiners, BANDED KILLIFISH, bluntnose minnows, bridle shiners, mudminnows, largemouth bass, rock bass. Invertebrates: Widow skimmer dragonfiles. Invasive species: round gobies, tubenose gobies. Species at risk: Pugnose shiner, bridle shiner.

    Fish: Pugnose shiners (18 total!), largemouth bass, rock bass, bluntnose minnows, round goby. Plants: Richardsons pondweed, valonia algae, bullrush, chara algae, nitellopsis algae, rushes, typha, sago, water nymph. Birds: Common loon, Common tern, Double crested cormorant, Swan (mute or trumpeter?). Species at risk: Pugnose shiners Invasive species: round goby, nitellopsis algae, (mute swan?)

    Riverside Cedar Beach by Emma Ehrenfeld

    Plants: Tape grass, Eurasian milfoil, coontail, water plantain, stargrass, water marigold, water nymph, purple loosestrife, phragmites, chara algae, valonia algae. Birds: Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Eagle (heard it calling, unsure of species), ring billed gulls. Mammals: Beaver dam and evidence of their activity on the trees and shrubbery. Amphibians: Leopard frogs, heard green frogs. Fish: Golden shiner, bluntnose minnow, longnose gar, leopomis species, bluegill, yellow perch, brook silverside, mimic shiner, round gobies, tubenose gobies, tesselated darters. Invertebrates: bladder snail, marsh ramshorn snails, amber snails, bryozoans. Invasive species: Purple loosestrife, phragmites, Eurasian milfoil, round goby, tubenose goby.

    Birds: Canada geese, house sparrow, american robin. Insects: Cabbage moth, caddisfly, stonefly, diptera sp. Plants: Richardsons pondweed, coontail, major, minor and starry duckweed, Eurasian milfoil, elodea, water nymph, fragrant white water lily, flatleaf pondweed, phragmite, purple loosestrife, black eyed susan, milkweed, poison ivy, touch-me-not, golden rod, willow trees, honeysuckle bushes. Fish: Longnose gar, largemout bass, smallmouth bass, round goby, mimic shiner, bluntnose minnow, fallfish, yellow perch, bluegill sunfish, pumpkinseed sunfish. Crustacean: Rusty crayfish and virile crayfish. Invasive species: purple loosestrife, phragmite, eurasian milfoil, round goby, rusty crayfish.

    Birds: Red winged blackbird, common tern, double crested cormorant, mallard, house sparrow (or some type of wren?). Plants: Cow parsley (or wild carrot), poison parsnip, tape grass, Eurasian milfoil, elodea, typha sp., phragmite, algae, coontail, water plantain. Fish: Muskellunge! fallfish, brown bullhead catfish, small mouth bass, largemouth bass, rock bass, bluntnose minnow, white sucker, banded killifish, brook silverside.

Invasive species: Purple loosestrife, phragmites, round goby.
