Otonabee River at Bata Library (TrentU) by Joseph Gentile

Prior to sampling, a visually large watercraft travelled up the river, from south to north, passing under the Faryon Bridge. This created a large wake in the river’s current and caused debris (periphyton, sediment, detritus, etc.) from the bottom of the river bed to be churned up to the middle of the water column. Flock of geese in area down stream from sampling location.
