    ces données ont été prises le lendemain d'une très grosse pluie. Plusieurs sediments provenant du ruisselement ont coulés dans le lac. L'eau était très trouble. Des canards nageaient sur le lac.

    Wind 7 km SW, 88% Humidity, 101.1 kPa. Working at a site near some water this morning and had my test kit with me. Chilly morning but quickly warming up. Cottage owners opening up cottages and tidying up before summer.

    Lachine Canal at Pont Charlevoix by Justin Langille

    Parks Canada ban on water testing for 72 hours till Aug.19 at 6:22 pm for direct contact activities (pedal boating, kayak, canoe). Due to "mixed water discharge". In between steel and textile factors converted into living facilities. Paths heavily used, as is bridge. Canal is a national historic site. Pigeons perched above bridge, cicadas audible, shorn grass on banks, mix of young and mature trees.
