  Grey and cloudy day, gentle breeze. River levels normal, calm flow. Weir works now completed and machinery removed. Saw one swan and a few duck.

  Testing not carried out due to Storm Bert. Risk of being blown into the river.

  No breeze. River levels higher than normal. Fast flowing - yellow board conditions. Works at Chertsey weir still in progress. Heavy machinery close to test site. Water looking a bit muddier than normal. No ducks or geese present.

  No testing carried out due to test area being flooded. River is very fast flowing and dangerous. Red board river conditions.

  Ducks and swans present. River pretty clam. Slight breeze. Heavy equipment at riverbank near test site. Emergency works being carried out on the weir at Chertsey lock.

  Water is clear and calm, very light breeze. 1 swan. Emergency repair work to the weir about to commence.

  Water clear, fast flowing and breezy. 1 swan Due to emergency repairs to the weir by Chertsey lock, we had to move our test site by approximately 8 metres. No actual work being done by our test site but the workers need access to the beach area.

  Test was cancelled, due to flooding.

  There has been very bad flooding of the park since the last water test and very high winds. Water now subsided but still high. River is fast flowing, muddy and cloudy. A few geese around with droppings near test site.

  River level is high, calm and fast flowing. Water looks cloudy and muddy. Few ducks on the river. Someone has dumped some white sausage size items in the river. No idea what they are. Removed from riverbed after water test. They looked like lumps of ‘dough’ and white throughout. No idea what they are. Put in rubbish bin.

  No birds near test area. Hardly any boats. River levels normal and calm, slight breeze. Part of the road is closed due to roadworks.

  Slightly breezy, water quite calm. A few boats travelling on river. Not many birds near test site. Few people feeding ducks and swan bread. One fisherman near test site.

  River levels ok, few boats on river. Slight breeze and calm water. Saw one swimmer and paddle boarder. No birds or duck on river bank near test site.
