    There was natural debris on the shoreline. Looking at this, there could have possibly been rough waters that caused some lake vegetation to be washed to shore. There was also uneven sand distribution from erosion. Some areas had dunes poking out of the water 1-3m from the shoreline into the water. There was also and increase in shell particles eroded into small fine sizes.

Concerns
Through this program, citizen scientists play a vital role in collecting data for baseline water chemistry and on key contaminants, including PFAS, nutrients, and chloride (road salts) for the Lake Erie basin. By addressing critical gaps in regional water quality data, the project supports innovative pilot programs to develop and refine new monitoring methods.
