    The lake is swimmable - as in when you look at you would think, I want to swim here. Geese defecating everywhere. Also, city needs to do MORE garbage pick-up; citizens need to bring out what they bring in. Mallard ducks, as well as gulls, mergansers in the bay

    Portage trail near waterfall by Darlene Davison

    Garbage cleaned up except for some broken glass. Jill found a toad. Water is lower than last time you can see the water line. We did not take a measuring tape to find the distance.

    1st ever in this location spotting of common merganser (adult), sapsuckers calling, not many bugs.

    Sunday Lake - east basin by Sunday Lake Stewardship Association.

    Taken Far East end of Lake. tons of minnows2 fish jumping in 1/2 hour. Partly cloudy. Previous 2 days colder( 14 high 5 low) heavy rains, high wind. Tons of caterpillars/ gypsy moths this season.

    This is a popular beach and it smelled of goose dump. Excrement everywhere: in the long grass, on sand, on rocky outcrops. The water looks clearer today than last Saturday and for our Tuesday night masters swim. Lake temp has dropped 4-6 degrees C since Tuesday (20C) depending on where you are on the lake today.

    Grass in park is long. Geese poop everywhere again. Minimal garbage. sad to know the park isn't guarded or maintained much this summer. When are lifeguarding, water quality and park maintenance essential services? Swam here this week. Lake temp is cold. Water looks dark/greeny again for the second year.

    Bailey Creek- Consession Rd. 8 ( North of County rd. 1) by Lisa Narowski

    . Water murky . Water slower moving . Shallow water level . No rocks in/at site- very sandy bottom and silt . Some grass and woody debris in water . Site sample taken just downstream of two large drainpipes(municipal drain) . Slow drain of water coming out of "north" drain pipe . car tire in water at creek bed on north side . Surrounding land vegetation: grasses and deiciduous trees . High banks- noticeable bank erosion . No signs of aquatic life
