About this organization
Student's from the University of South Alabama's Department of Marine Sciences focused on upstream monitoring in local waters to ensure a healthy Mobile Bay, and estuary. Undergrads from the Departments of Biology and Marine Sciences looking to help protect local waterways and gain hands on experience in the field through citizen science. Testing is done once a month. Our water monitors use Alabama Water Watch approved protocols for basic water chemistry, including Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Alkalinity, Hardness, Temperature, and Turbidity.
