    Investigators: Peter, Jennifer, Deborah (July 27, 24) First time using Hanna pH meter: 7.5 (water temperature on pH meter - 23.8'C) (Hardness and Alkalinity taken with pH strips) Hardness - very low Alkalinity - ok range Wildlife: map turtle, 2 cormorants Activity Fishing and recreational boats on the water.

    Investigators: Jennifer, Peter, Deb and Virginia. - Lots of pollen in the water yesterday (mostly gone this morning) - One other fishing boat on the water Note: Using new pH strips, results seem different than in previous years. (New pH strips pH = 7.8; hardness and alkalinity in ok range.) (Results using old pH strips: pH - 7.0, Wildlife - 4 map turtles, some gulls, and spotted sandpiper.
