    Spotted several seals and birds (cormorant, seagulls and pelicans). Both wind and swells were higher than average.

    Saw snow geese and king eider ducks (our only siting on this trip). Seals in distance. Fulmars flying overhead. Bergs in fjord. Time registered is AST (one hour ahead of EST)

    Polar bear and cub close by. Swells in water and secchi at about 10 degrees. A lot of Sea butterflies and jellyfish in the water near the glacier face.

    Coastal Access Ragged Point by Jordan Ross

    Cloudy and Windy. Spotted 1 very friendly seal and 3 Sea Otters out at the rim of the cove. As well 1 fragrant tree that reminded us of the smell of tea tree oil.

    Many pedestrians and seagulls at the beach, there was also a bunch of loose trash around the beach. Weather was sunny and clear and had been for the previous 3 days.
