    A couple of times this summer the reading for pH has been significantly different from the norm. Repeating the test resulted in more normal readings, so I have ignored the first reading. Today the first reading for pH was 6.8 and the second was 7.8, which I recorded.

    Bryozoan colonies are beginning to form on the dock and some weed masses. female Black duck hanging around Loons frequent the area as little as 50m offshore. juvenile bald eagle seen overhead yesterday found a different type of millfoil that I am not familiar with
