The ammonium reading was lower than it had been for a long time, so I was surprised when the phosphate reading was 2.50 flashing, (ie the highest it can show) and didn't show a similar drop to the ammonia. The vegetation in the water at the side of the Moselle Brook almost always shows sewage fungus attached. That is why I noted Algae - attached above.
