    I was able to collect a clear sample from this outfall even though a burst water main had occurred earlier in the day further up Whitehall Road towards Woodford. This resulted in the Ching being a lovely shade of sand. The phosphates reading was flashing.

    Burst watermain at Whitehall Road has washed silty water down the river increasing flow rates and turning the water brown and opaque. Phosphate level 2.5 flashing indicating that the phosphate level is above the range of the Hanna checker
