Beech Hall Crescent CSO by Martha Jeffery

Mattress in The Ching right underneath CSO output (reported to Environment Agency). Neighbour (Teresa) whose garden backs onto The Ching where the CSO discharges told me it was discharging for about 3-4 days continuously about 2 weeks ago, and shortly after 2 men from Thames Water came to clear up the area. The area immediately around the pipe outlet has been cleared of toilet paper, wipes etc.

Lordship Recreation Ground (Downstream) by Caroline Jepson

The appearance of the Moselle Brook has deteriorated since the December and January testing when the sewage fungus had disappeared. The sewage fungus attached to the vegetation on the edges of the Brook was very visible as seen in the photos attached. The ammonia reading was higher than the previous two readings, although still historically on the law side. The phosphate reading had also increased, which was not surprising considering the return on the sewage fungus.
