    We could not get a depth due to weeds. Beautiful clear day, no wind. Saw a bat flying, kingfishers, mallards, pintails, red-neck grebe, cormorants, turtle and a small shorebird.

    there is more suspended algae in the water than observed last week. Also more than in memory of other years, this is peak of summer heat! Very thick amounts of the suspended algae in the water lilies close to the shore
