7 mallards: 3 females, 4 males (no hybrid). 1 northern flicker 2 spotted towhee. 3 black capped chickadees 3 varied thrush 5 darker eyed juncos 2 song sparrows 1 brown creeper 5 golden crowned kinglets

West Lagoon - West/Main Deck by Burke Mountain Naturalists
Relatively high turbidity levels on west lagoon continue over the fall and early winter, particularly in comparison to clear water in east lagoon. Unknown cause of this turbidity to date. Wildlife observations include a few Mallards, Bufflehead ducks, Pied-billed grebe, and Ring-necked ducks.

Water in east lagoon is quite clear in comparison to turbid conditions in west lagoon. Wildlife sightings include a few Mallards and Pied-billed grebe.

West Lagoon - West/Main Deck by Burke Mountain Naturalists
West pond quite murky compared to east pond. Considerable amount of waterfowl on water including, mallards, american wigeons, ring-necked ducks, pied billed grebes, gadwalls, hooded mergansers, several Canada geese. Also heard song sparrow.
