    Len's Cove Marina, Portland, on the Big Rideau by Ann White

    The water was brown and murky with quite a bit of silt. One 20 pontoon boat arrived and moored in slips along the edge of the channel. A small aluminum boat motored past. There are numerous boats moored in slips along the edge of the bay.

    Big Rideau Lake off of Campbell St by Ann White

    The bottom wasn't visible. The water was dark brown and full of silt. There were clumps of bright green algae and weeds clumped together floating on the surface in rafts about 2 - 3 m across. See image.

    The bottom was clearly visible. There was a light breeze today compared to the last test when it was windy and a bit wavy.

    Ironwoods Bay by Ann White

    Test site at the mouth of bay fed by a stream that runs all year. The stream runs from a pond created by a dam on a property upstream about 200 meters from the bay. The opening of the bay is seen in centre of the image.
