  The weather had been very dry for many days. Test was taken after 2 days of sever thunderstorms on a cool, sunny calm morn. There were many Loons in the area.

  Our dragonfly friend had an injured wing. The kids decided to let him onto a twig and place him in the grass, out of the way of cars in the parking lot where we found him. :) Lots of fat little minnows hanging out too.

  Heavy thunderstorms the night before the test. Water is considerably cooler than before. Winds have been heavy for the last few days.

  Windy day - paddled to observation site. Water is extremely high, even covering the boat launch downriver.
