This has a value in connecting people with nature and awakening river stewardship.\r\n\r\nEMRT collaborates with a dedicated volunteer group in Horncastle, that was set up under AW Get River Positive programme. Volunteers run from a local natural history centre and put many hours into data collection. Volunteers created almost 600 water quality data entries using Hach kits in the last 3 years. They have created Moodle learning platform with sampling protocol, and EMRT contributed with other educational material about Himalayan balsam (HB).
