Lots of walkers, cyclists, Narrow Boats going through Stoke Lock, and a fast kaykacking race down the river was going on. Two Swans swam by, by the pontoon. The pontoon bank had broken away a bit by the waters edge, so care needed when moving onto the pontoon to get sample. Conservation Cattle were all sat shaded under the wooded area of the wetlands meadow. We saw lots of Damsleflys and there were many Crows and Jackdaws making a large sound by Slyfield devlopment and the Riverside Nature Reserve and Red kites circling
