I did try getting a photo of the gammarus swimming in the water, there is a photo and you need imagination to see it.  Also, note the silt in my tray whilst riverfly monitoring, see photo.\r\n\r\nOn a brighter note, on this section of the brook, whilst walking in the afternoon, it is full of beautiful blue and banded demoiselles, there are more on this section than the othet,( East Kyd Brook), literally loads.  I have added some pics, i know its not from today but relevant as ive found demoiselle nymphs on 2 occasions whilst riverfly monitoring this section, plus it peoves that somehiw the water is clean enough to support them, hopefully in abundance along the brook but also there is the food for them.
