Amur Honeysuckle (Lonicera maackii) well leafed out.  Mayapples (Podophyllum peltatum) up and budding on the slope leading down to the creek.  Other spring ephemeral present included small patches of Spotted Wakerobin (Trillium maculatum) and Cutleaf Toothwort (Cardamine concatenata).  Birds overheard at the creek and confirmed by Merlin app: American Goldfinch, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, American Robin, White-throated Sparrow, Red-winged Blackbird, Brown-headed Cowbird, Downy Woodpecker, Mourning Dove, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Cedar Waxwing.  Testing strip faded some in heat; additional photo taken of strip at creek is attached for
