Notes

As me and my daughter approached the bridge, a muskrat was swimming right where we ended up sampling. It is a semi-aquatic rodent and looks similar to a beaver except it has a skinny straight tail instead of a paddle. It dove and swam away before I could get a picture. Also, on our way to our sampling spot, we saw a mallard duck pair, male and female. The sun was out with no cloud cover. 101.89 kPa, WNW 18 km/hr, 20% humidity

Location description
Location the bridge next to the college, along the waterfront path. 2 Beaver dams in succession near the mouth of the creek.
