- Enter Kickapoo Woods off State Highway 1 (S. Halsted St.) in Riverdale/Harvey, Illinois. Follow the drive west about 500 yards and look for the sign for the Boat Launch on the south side of the drive. Park along the drive and walk the path south following the signs through the forest preserve to the Boat Launch.
