Location description
This location was chosen as a secondary location in support of our Benthic "Kick n Sweep" Survey. This location was chosen specifically on the other side of the narrows because there exists concerns by the mine's environmental department because there may not be enough flow from Otto Lake to Herman Lake to effectively dilute the effluent. This benthic project is meant to support base line studies as the mine has only released effluent in 2024.
